Joanna brings a wealth of knowledge from her background as an architect to every consulting project. As a Licensed Architect in Washington state, and a perennial regenerative design consultant, Joanna’s broad experience ranges from schools and universities to office buildings and corporate campuses, and includes government buildings, data centers, public green spaces, and parks.

Joanna is Living Future Accredited, a LEED Accredited Professional (AP), a BREEAM® AP, and an Estidama Pearl Qualified Professional. With this diverse certification experience she assists clients in not only achieving their green certification goals, but also in identifying unique sustainability strategies for each project.

She specializes in guiding clients through the early design stages of complex projects by planning and facilitating integrated design charettes. Joanna believes strongly in the importance of incorporating sustainability strategies into project pre-design and schematic design stages. By helping each client to identify and write the Owner Project Requirements, Joanna helps set the stage for project success – minimizing change orders and optimizing the transition from construction to building operations. She excels in coordinating the work of large project teams and in communicating effectively with Owners.

Joanna writes and implements green building certification work plans and coordinates the work of multidiscipline teams to reach project goals. She also writes green building certification specifications and responds to Requests for Proposal regarding regenerative design.
