How do you create an ADU that supports work, accommodates guests, cultivates an urban farm, and can be converted to a small house in the future?

Frog Run

Frog Run is an ADU that supports the McLennan Heron Hall Living Building. The small structure is also a guest house and artist studio, designed to be easily converted into a separate home at a later date. A photovoltaic rooftop array provides enough energy to make the building net zero for all operations, even including electric car charging. The project is registered with the Living Building Challenge alongside “Chicken Hall”, the world’s smallest registered Living Building project.
