We just received word that Jason F. McLennan was just announced as a Design Futures Council 2015 Honorary Senior Fellow!

The Design Futures Council annually grants Senior Fellowships to outstanding individuals who have provided noteworthy leadership to the advancement of design and related professions.  Senior Fellows are recognized for significant contributions toward the understanding of changing trends, new research, and applied knowledge that improve the built environment and the human condition.

Senior Fellowship was awarded to Jason F. McLennan for his role as CEO at the International Living Future Institute, a leading NGO that focuses on the transformation to a world that is socially just, culturally rich and ecologically restorative. He is the creator of the Living Building Challenge, Living Product Challenge, Living Community Challenge, Just, and Declare, a past recipient of the Buckminster Fuller Prize, and the author of five books on sustainable design.

This year’s new Senior Fellows are an inspiring and exemplary group of individuals who are creating positive and meaningful change and influence throughout our built environment and we are excited that McLennan has been selected as an Design Futures Council 2015 Senior Fellow.
